Propeller Clock

This Propeller Clock was based on the design by Bob Blick.

7 LED's are driven by a PIC 16F628a, and a second 16F628a which is providing the clockpuls. The circuit is build on a circuitboard and rotated by an electric DC motor.

I used my own software, and wrote it in the wonderful PIC Simulator IDE from Oshon Software.
During rotation of the circuit board (the 7 LED's) there is also the need for a synchronisation pulse. This puls is provided by a reed switch and magnet. But you could use a Hallsensor or CNY37/TCST2000.

The software has been designed in a way, so it will show the time indication always right, regardless the RPM of the motor, or the position of the reedswitch.

An rpm indicator will be added soon.

The circuit and software (for both PIC's) is soon available here.
